Norovirus (Stomach Flu) Clinical Study Registration
Advancing health equity requires meaningful participation from the Black/African American community and other underrepresented populations. While we all share common biology, research has shown that prevention, treatment, and diagnostic tools can affect patient outcomes differently across populations.
Biomedical research is essential to improving health outcomes for all communities. Today’s clinical studies are conducted under strict oversight by Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), which are designed to protect participants and ensure ethical and fair treatment.
EHAN’s mission is to help build representation in research by informing and motivating individuals to participate in studies that may benefit their communities. The Nova 301 Trial is currently enrolling adults age 60 and older, and increasing participation from minority populations is a key priority to ensure the vaccine is evaluated across diverse groups.
